About the event
Join us under the luminous light of September's full moon for a special women's circle dedicated to sharing and honoring our grief.
The full moon is a time when whatever has been hiding in the shadows comes to light. During this time, our feelings intensify, and we face the emotions we usually keep in the dark or distract ourselves from in our busy lives.
In this sacred space, we will acknowledge and address the grief we carry, allowing ourselves to feel its fullness. With love and compassion for ourselves and each other, we will recognize that everyone’s journey through grief is unique.
I lost my mum to a rare and aggressive cancer in early August 2020. This circle is especially meaningful to me as I feel a profound pull to share my hurts, regrets, thoughts and feelings around this loss in a safe and sacred space with other women who are on similar paths.
Our circle will begin with each of us placing a special treasure of our loved ones, or something that reminds us of them, into the sacred center. We will then partake in a heart-opening cacao ceremony, followed by heartfelt sharing and some movement to help us release what we no longer wish to hold onto.
Let us come together to honor our grief, support each other, and find healing under the full moon's embrace
